fuel tank sending unit...
anyone have a pic of this or a close up of their gas tank out of the car??? i got in there and pulled it off cause it wasnt working and now i'm trying to put it back on. i don't have the tank off, so i'm doing this blindly but i need a visual. hahahaha, HELP!
pretty straight forward. i think six screws around the outside. be careful not to strip them with the screwdriver. stick the paddle in and then seat it. make sure you have the seal on it. i would show a pic but all my old threads have the links gone.

well the pic doesnt work, but i did finally find a way to be able to see right in there without removing the tank. and it's missing a prong. so i gotta get a good one now

if its just missing the ground prong, do what i did, cut the ground wire from the connector, splice on a new wire, and screw it down under one of the 6 screws. It will perform the same function as the ground prong on the connector.
