Fuel System: Fuel cut valve[s] w/ pics.

Hey Guys -

Im redoing my fuel system, and was wondering what these two valves do. Also, do I still need to keep these?

The manual calls one the 'check / cut valve' and the other one a 'fuel cut valve', located on page 4-3 in the manual.

Heres pics for those who need a to see what I am talking about;

And here is my new bracket:

Thanks!
Chris

I want to say that the first pic is a fuel cut valve that shuts off the flow in case of rollover.

EDit: Maybe thats the 2nd one.

Actually, Im not sure which one it is but I do know that 1 of em def cuts off fuel supply in case of rollover.

First picture is the fuel cut valve.

The second is the Check and Cut valve.

Should they stay or should they go?

I kept mine. Probably safer that way.

the check and cut valve releases excess pressure from the gas tank and also stops the fuel flow in the event of a roll over. keep it.

the fuel cut valve cuts off fuel in the event of a rollover. its your secondary safety device in the system. i'd keep both.
