Fuel System: Fuel cut valve[s] w/ pics.
Hey Guys -
Im redoing my fuel system, and was wondering what these two valves do. Also, do I still need to keep these? The manual calls one the 'check / cut valve' and the other one a 'fuel cut valve', located on page 4-3 in the manual. Heres pics for those who need a to see what I am talking about; http://theglogspot.com/gallery/album...0132.sized.jpg http://theglogspot.com/gallery/album...0133.sized.jpg And here is my new bracket: http://theglogspot.com/gallery/album...0129.sized.jpg Thanks! I want to say that the first pic is a fuel cut valve that shuts off the flow in case of rollover.
EDit: Maybe thats the 2nd one. Actually, Im not sure which one it is but I do know that 1 of em def cuts off fuel supply in case of rollover. |
First picture is the fuel cut valve.
The second is the Check and Cut valve. Should they stay or should they go? |
I kept mine. Probably safer that way.

the check and cut valve releases excess pressure from the gas tank and also stops the fuel flow in the event of a roll over. keep it.
the fuel cut valve cuts off fuel in the event of a rollover. its your secondary safety device in the system. i'd keep both. |
