Question fuel sending unit output

i'm looking to do a full cluster of aftermarket gauges in my 79, but am not sure what the output is on the fuel sending unit. my options in the gauges i'm looking at are:

empty/full (ohms)
0/90
73/8-12
240/33
0/30
16/158

if i'm looking at completely wrong gauges, please let me know. thanks.

The FSM has the specs for the sending unit, don't recall what they are off hand. May be hard to find the right one for a Mazda.

Just get an autometer adjustable fuel level gauge. It can be set to whatever the sender puts out,on nearly any car.I had one on my V-6 GLC for a while and I recently reset it to work on my Samurai after pillaging the GLC for its engine.
The gauge is set when empty (or with 1-2 gallons if you want some reserve) then you fill the tank all the way and set it again. The gauge will remember the min and max Ohm readings programmed into it,then use them to indicate fuel level anywhere between the two.It works great!

Which gauge and sender did you use? Will it work with the stock sending unit?

Thanks, Ed
