Fuel question

I have a buddy that has an 85 GSL-SE and I put an S4 TII motor in it. he went with the Webber blow through set up but he keeps having problems with fuel collecting in the 90* bend under the bonnet that connects to the intercooler piping on the passenger side of the car. He changed the Fuel pressure regulator thinking that was bad and nothing changed. He tried adjusting timing and nothing, he tried adjusting the Webbers and nothing. He tried swapping out the GSL-SE pump with an MSD EFI inline pump and that didn’t do nothing either. Also all this fuel is causing the motor to foul out the plugs so he has to keep changing those on a regular basis. Thinking there was something wrong with the Webbers he switched to a Holley blow through system and is still having the same exact problems. The motor has great compression and was just rebuilt not to long ago so we know for a fact that the motor is good. Are we missing something? Any piece of info would be greatly appreciated.

that pessure is a bit to high for the carb.

i think that is going to need to be somewhere around 2.5 - 4 psi and i would suggest getting a highly accurate fuel pressure gauge from www.respeed.com
