Fuel Pumps, 83 & 84, Tests
Gentlemen,
I have removed the fuel pumps from the two cars I have, an 83 and 84. Plumbed each to a milk gug of fuel and applied 12 vdc. The 83 delivered 1200 cc / min and the 84 1500 cc / min. Each of them meets the test of 1100 cc/min stated in the Haines manual.
Where can I find a pressure testing device that is for metric fittings?? All my local parts stores offer units for inch dim. fittings.
