fuel pump, regulator, and filter?

can someone let me know of options for my stock port 13b with a 48mm dellorto? everything's in the signature. i also need a GOOD fuel pressure regulator. not a holley, or weber. the one i have is ****, maybe?

also, is one fuel filter, on the line right before the carb enough? its just one of those glass cylinder ones. should i get a different kind?

For fuel pump, Mallory makes some awesome pumps that *don't* make huge ticking noises! I'm running a Mallory Comp70, but depending on the volume you need, you might go for a Comp110. The Comp70 supplies WAY more than enough for my 12a with Rx7Carl/Sterling carb... but you might need more.

As for regulator.. well I've got the holley one too. I think it might be OK if you get a good pressure guage to dial it in with, but as yet I've yet to get the FPR under control

whats wrong with the holley regs? ive got one with a good gauge and it seems good. easy to tune. always the same psi. durable.

You only need one filter and it should be before the fuel pump.

ohhh

hmmmm

well, are you sure, that the pump can pull the gas through the filter, instead of push?

is the glass cylinder filter good enough alone?

I think the stock filters are fine. Just replace them periodically. If you run an in-line filter like the glass one you have, use it in conjunction with the stock filter and locate it before the FPR (at least that's how I'd do it- someone please correct me if I'm wrong....)

As for fuel pump, I run a Weber pump. It fits great in the stock location, no noise and has performed very well for me thusfar.
