Ok, the car is a gsl-se but looking for a replacement that works better than stock.
I have also upgraded the injectors and ported the motor.
As for the Walbro 255, is that a inline or a intank pump? I was told intank.

Thanks

you can get walbro's intake or inline, but its alot harder to find an inline one than an intake one

Yes it does, but I've heard it is possible to rig an in-tank setup as well...

Yeah it's me. I just got an 83 RX-7 a few days ago that I've been working on.

You are right about it being inline, I would pull it off and put an external 255 in its place if you are going forced induction.

I use a 255 with N/A. I know that a 195 may have been better but I am satisfied with it.

Question

I have a fuel pump problem also. I bought this 85 GSL recently. The previous owner tried to replace the fuel pump with a universal one but couldn't get it to work. I checked and there is no power to the fuel pump. Can anyone tell me where to look or post a picture of where the Fuel pump cutoff relay is and also anywhere else I might check for a power problem. Engine runs great als long as you pour gas domn the carb.

"Get out of the thread, get down on the ground, and put your hands behind your head! Keep that keyboard where I can see it!"

Try a holley. I put one on my car and worked fine for the FI engine. They come in 45PSI or I think 70PSI high flow. They aren't too expensive either.

Go to a 2nd gen in tank set up.

As for the jacker. I think the FP cut relay is beside the ECU, on the firewall on the passenger side.
