Hi
I just purchased an 85 with a 13b fuel injected engine. the car came with a non operating fuel pump so I bought a new one from Canadian Tire. This pump is a Carter brand and the car runs and drives great with it installed, but the thing is louder than the engine.( without the muffler) Is this whine normal for this type of replacemrnt pump or did I get a problem pump. Thanks for any info.

Install better wiring, add a relay to trigger it, and make a better ground for it.
