Fuel Pump Issues
I have a Walbro EFI Fuel pump. Im going to use it on a carbureted setup pushing a 600CFM carb. Obviously the Fuel pump overpowers the carb.
Is theres a pressure regulator that I can use that WONT give me alot of problems? What pressure should I run, 7 PSI?
What other NON-Aftermarket fuel pumps can I use, like say anything out of an old truck? I bought a Walbro and I can't afford to buy something else again as I just forked out for the carb setup.

Well... You simply cannot use that pump with a carb without some special regulator that I am not sure exists or not. There is a reason it is an EFI pump. You know that your carb needs 6-7psi and that pump is probably 70psi, right?
You need to buy a good carb fuel pump. I think I got a rebuilt Holley Red two years ago for $40 shipped from ebay. With some types you don't need a regulator.
My advice is to sell the walbro and get a holley or carter. Theres lots of turbo EFI guys lookin to get a walbro. Shouldn't be hard to sell.
