Question fuel pump

Ok guys I'm still around here working on the car. God only knows when it's going to be completed. But I'm going holley. I've killed the 13B 4-port. Dropping in a SP 13B 6-port. Dropping a holley 650 double pumper on it. Now my fuel pump is completely dead on the car. I had a holley red on it, but after killing the engine AGAIN due to the fuel pump. I want something better. Does anyone know of a good set up to use.

Also intake manifold. RB doesn't have a manifold for a 13b 6-port. Does anyone know of a manifold I can use for this setup. THanks a lot guys.

Live Long and Prosper.

RB does have a 6 port 13B manifold for the Holley carb. It's right there on their site under Holley Components.

As for the pump, most guys run Holley blues, IIRC.

i thought using the SE pump with a carb is a no no?

SE pump is made to create 40+psi where a carb is going to run what, 8psi?

i went to schucks today and for 37 bux got a new fuel pump that flows 32 gph, and runs between 4 and 7 psi... put it in my car today, huge improvement over the stock fuel pump.. don't knwo the specs on the holley red, but i run a 6 port 13B with a RB manifold and holley 600cfm(not a double pumper)

It is okay to use the -SE pump. You just need a return style regulator to get the pressure down to where it should be.

Exactly. I was running an Aeromotive A1000 (supposedly supports 1000hp) in my car,
with a Holley Carb down as low as 4.5 psi.
