Fuel Pulsation Dampner

The gas stench is getting progressively worse, and smells the strongest in the vicinity of my intake plenum.

is there any procedure to check the dampner without dissasembling the intake?

This SE is my daily driver and my only car so having it off the road is problematic.

Any general help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

WHat is there to check? It sounds like it is leaking fuel, which should be visible.

Well I was thinking if it was a small enough leak it wouldn't be visible, and I was also betting on the fact that if it wasn't the dampner it would be leaking injectors- just trying to narrow thing down.

Just in the preliminary stages of looking into this problem so feel free to flame for dumb questions... owning this car is a learning process for me.
