Question fuel presure question

hello, i will be upgrading my fuel pump soon and i was wondering if i will need to change the mixture at all? i am going from the stock pump to a carter unit, and i have a rb holley 465 carb. also do you think that 6 psi to the carb will be ok? thanks.

Well, I doubt the stock pump did much for you, now did it? When you get the pump installed, start at 4.5 psi and work up from there, less chance of flooding the first time you fire it up. Once it's running, you can play with fuel pressure from there.

You will probably end up playing with both the psi and mixture. You won't really know until it's all installed and running. Find a wideband to dial it in
