fuel pressure guage

anybody know where to get one that reads from 0-5 psi, so as to possibly decrease the error when running such low pressures? im talking about the one paul yaw talks about on his site.

McMaster-Carr # 4026K27 0-5 psi @ + or - 1.5 % full gauge accuracy = $37.81 in 2001

That folks is + or - .03 psi @ 2 psi

While your looking at the McMaster-Carr gauges please note there are different accuracys for different gauges. + or - 5% of a 2 psi gauge would be = or - .1%. Some gauges are + or - 2% at the mid point of the gauge & + or - 5% at the ends of the gauge.

Have Fun ; )

Yeah, but I remember on Paul Yaw's site talk that a 1-5psi gauge needs a snubber or something installed because FPRs are mechanical, and so don't kick in right away when the pump first starts pumping its 6psi. This throws the needle off the edge of the scale for a second or two, which is bad for any gauge... But I s'pose if you were just connecting it for short periods for tuning it wouldn't be too bad.

But for $37 vs Yaw's $47, I'd almost pay the extra ten bucks to protect my investment by his little thirty cent snubber... That is until I found out exactly what a "snubber" is and where I could get one on my own to add to a McMaster-Carr gauge!
