Is that fuel in my oil?
Ok, this may or may not be a legitimate problem so here goes...
I recently removed rats nest following the tutorial that everyone else here uses. So, as it states, I have the tube from the carb bowl vent connected directly to the port on the oil filler neck via 5/16 fuel line. Between this connection is a "T" fitting that attaches to the purge valve (which has two vacuum lines leading to vacuum ports on the carb). Here's the question: Doesn't this let fuel spill directly out of the fuel bowls into the oil neck? I know this is happening because:
1. 5/16 line (being an english measurment) is actually a little two wide for this application (metric) and does not fit snugly over the port on the oil filler neck. This has been allowing fuel to leak out and down the engine.
2. A heavy smell of gas comming out of the oil filler tube.
Other ralated detail's that might contribute to the situation:
Every time I unscrew the gas cap there is a large rush of air into the tank. Should the gas tank be under pressure? I thought the tank was vented through the charcol canister.

Well, I do know that the gas cap says "non vented" about your gas tank problem. I'm probably off on that, though.
Other than that, you shouldn't have gas coming out of that tube. For the longest time, I had it with NO HOSE on it (bad nest removal on my part), and no gas ever came out of there.
