Fuel Line Question

Is this just a check vavle? And does anyone know if it regulates the fuel pressure to the carb in anyway? I took mine off because fuel wasnt running through it. We thought that it was just an on off switch. I think that might be part of my problem.

It's in case you turtle the car...fuel will not be allowed through when upside down. It might be a restriction, but it's not an active regulator of fuel flow...

I believe that is the "Fuel Check/Cut Valve" which is intended to shut off the fuel supply if you fail to keep the shiny side up. If you remove it, be aware that fuel will keep pumping in the event of a rollover, which could be a very, very bad thing.

It should not effect fuel pressure at all in normal circumstances, to my knowledge.

I don't know, but that's a good enough reason for me.

That's also why you don't hardwire your fuel pump (stock or aftermarket).

When doing an aftermarket pump, the best way is to feed off the battery, using a relay connected to the original pump signal for the "on" function of the relay.
