fuel gauge problems?

my fuel gauge dosent work? whats the problem...

ummm, check the connection at your sender first. its located in the left wheel well. jack the left rear up, take the tire off pull back the plastic and make sure there are no broken wires or the connection isnt oxidized or corroded. if thats fine, make sure the connector in the back of the cluster for the fuel gauge is hooked up. if thats fine, drop the tank, pull the sender and measure its resistance while moving the arm. if resistance is out of spec, replace the sender
