fuel filter

Well had the gas tank relaced but didn't do the gas filter until a few weeks later. Anyways once I got it replaced that dam car don't start. Prime the carb it strarts then die. Whats wrong I said I only changed the filter. Well come to find out the hose was collasped/bent right after the pump. Put a new hose on and it fixed it. The way it looked the plate below the pump was pushing on the hose for sometime. Just some info for you guys.

Well since I replaced the kinked hose my idle rose about 200rpm and I had to turn the idle mixture out another 1/2 turn. Also took care of hesitation. Just goes to show that not everthing is complex as we think.
