AZ fuel cut off

I was just replacing the old brittle fuel lines and don't care much for the fuel-cut
roll over valve,I was thinking of wiring in a interia switch (electrical cut switch)and removing the fuel-cut valve .any thoughts or suggestions-good or bad and ideas for a good location for the interia switch-----thanks
