Fuel/Cornering issues

I have two questions pertaining one matter...
1: Why does my car bog and sputter in the midst of a highspeed curve and....
2: Why does fuel spray out from the cap during the same event, and during not-so-high speed attempts? The gas can be less than 1/4 tank and it still happens. Thanks for any help

it happens because your broke and can only keep 1/8th a tank in yer car at a time and when u corner it all moves away from the pickup tube and creates air in the gasline that disrupts a constant flow of petrol to the motor resulting in bogging until the pickup tube catches more petrol

Sounds like your venting system might need some help. Try driving a bit without the gas cap and see if its better. That should tell you whether or not your vent system is plugged/not working right.

I had the same thing happen with my fuel spraying out of my tank too. Just replace the fuel cap.

i replaced the fuel cap. i was thinking a venting issue as well. and i am broke. but thats not the problem, only the problem to the solution. where is the vent on the fuel tank, and would that cause the sputtering as well?

I've experienced the fuel starvation problem, too. No, it won't happen when the tank's full, but sometimes we run long sessions, and my car's so thirsty that it works its way down to starvation level before I'm through. Is anbody running a catch can or similar to alleviate this problem? If so, how about a description and pics?
