not sure. my friend had a strut tower brace made (front i think) and he said it really stiffened up the frame, with less body roll in turns. i think he paid around $60, which isn't bad if you've got the cash. i wouldn't spend a couple hundred on it though.

I have a front bar by CP Racing and it really helped stiffen the front end. The car feels tighter and more solid. As far as the rear goes..... I personally I can't see how it would help.

Okay, i was thinking it might help me in the rear because i sawed out part of the "inner fender" so i could get to a dent to pound out... is this effecting my body support at all?

Well, with a unibody design, such as (almost) all modern cars have, it is always a bad idea to saw into body parts. Point is: the car is so designed to get maximum strength with minimum material (=costs). So apart from some cosmetic panels, most of the car will be important, and therefor shouldn't be removed. I know that this is especially true on a few smaller cars, some even have the windshield as a part of the structure. This means that you will have to support the car or it will bend when you take the windshield out! This doesn't go that far with a Seven, but I just wanted to show you what I mean. Be carefull when altering the unibody design.

Hope it doesn't hurt my car then...my friend did it he's like "if you take this out we can get in there" "no, i don't want to do that" "come on we can get that dent right out if we do" and started cutting away at it i'm like "whatever"
