friggin oil leak

i have an oil leak. i have to put a quart in around every week or so. the leak is toward the top of the engine where the front plate attaches to the main engine part...sorry about lack of better terms....the oil seems to sort of pool on top of the engine right below the filler neck, but it isnt coming from there...what would be the best thing to do? jb weld where the two front case attaches .....sorry for being pretty vague...i would take a picture, but im without a camera

You have the leak of death. It pools right above where it says 12a? What happens it the o-ring between to pieces of the engine where oil runs through gets messed up from the beehive oil cooler and leaks everywhere. There is no way to stop it dont let anyone tell you you can. I know for a fact you cant. You have to rebuild or put another engine in. Good luck.
