Freight Options For Engine Shipping
Anyone have any experience shipping an engine? What generally are the charges? How is it done and with what companies? Please PM if you have any experience with this. Thanks.

I got an engine delivered from LA to my place in Norcal for about $180. The company was mountain valley freight, they were right on time. Of course Mountain Valley is only a west coast option, but you get the idea. It shouldn't be too bad if you find the right company, UPS would have charged about the same and FedEx would've been more, I priced them all out. For other parts though, FedEx is cheaper than UPS in a lot of cases.
