Question freeing up some space?

lookin to free up some space in the engine bay of my 82, wat can i get rid of? obviously the aircon, rats nest etc....anything else? air pump perhaps?

also does anyone know where the bleed valve is for the air con, or suggestions on how to bleed it. dont particularly wanna crack open a hose full of high pressure gas...that'd be kinda stupid.

thanks aaron.

Nah, I just loosened up the bolt on the compressor let it leak out, Then got out of there R-12 can be a killer!

The air pump goes with rats nest removel,

If you dont end up getting that weber you are going to need block off plates for the intake mani.

Also, not to be rude, but if you search cleaning up the engine bay there has to be like a crap load on it.

you could relocate the battery to the storage bins. that frees up a lot of room.

Here is a thread from the Archives. This should give you some idea of what can be removed/relocated. This is a great time to start cleaning the engine bay if you haven't already. https://www.rx7club.com//showthread.php?t=441703
