you should throw up a couple of pics so people can see first hand what you are selling. might help. as far as one goes for me, well, i'm just happy prodding away at my stock shifter. but thanks for the offer anyways. also, are you dealing in 79-80 shifters as well? you know that the shifters are different right? 79-80 is longer and curved and the 81-85 ones are the same.

Thanks Max7. If anyone is weary about the install you can view mazdatrix's install page for a general idea, or I can send you pics.

These are 81-85 shifters only, I do have some for 86-88 too.

As I've told everyone if you want the best short throw go to www.mazdatrix.com, if ANYONE is unhappy with their purchase from me I will glady refund the shifter, all you pay is shipping back to me. The very last thing I want is someone to be unsatisfied.

I need to check pm's but I'm either really close to or already sold out. I've sent out several already and I'm shipping all who have paid up to now thursday. I'll be out of town until monday so if I don't get back to you just wait a little while.

I am in need of cores, if you have several we may be able to do a partial or full trade, pm me.

After 20 are sold it will be at least 2 months before the next batch.

Now, Jorx81, although I'm not fond of shortshifters, I CAN supply you with at least two cores. Note: They're from an SA.

I'm not fond of Shorts, though, so I'll gladly take other stuff in exchange.

I don't think those short shifters would fit my '83, due to the 2nd gen tranny in it, nor my buddy's SA either, from what I hear.
Too bad, as that is a great price.................

The only diference between FB (s2&s3) and an s4 shifer is a bend in the rod.

I have a few s4 shifters for sale. same price.

The difference between s4 and s5 is the shift **** thread pattern, the shifter is also constructed a little different but they are interchangable.

I got one of joe's shifters in my car, it cuts down the shift a good bit. Worth the money.

I got my shifter today as well. The weld is gorgeous! Will install this weekend.

Augusta is 150 miles from Savannah, Albany is a different direction and probably further.

If you take these two for the SA and make them into an SA short shifter I'll buy one.

I have 2 questions.

1. How thick is the adapter that bolts on top of the stock shifter housing and how much do you extend the the shifter between the large and small '*****' on the shifter?

2. Would you concider selling the kit without the shifter, and if so, how much? I have spare shifters and can weld up my own.

You can PM me with a price for 64503 zipcode. I may be able to take 2.
