Exclamation FREE Gsl-se

Okay now that your checking out this thread please don't leave. I really need anyones help in tuning a Weber sidedraft on a stock GSL-SE.

I just installed a 45 Weber sidedraft on my stock six port 13B. I am having problems trying to tune my car. It idles fine but as soon as I try to hold a steady R.P.M. over 15 hundred the car misses uncontrollably. It almost seems to be a problem with the ignition but I'm not too sure because the car ran ok with the stock fuel injection.

Can someone give me advice on what might be the problem (jet sizes, timing setting,...). Thanks in advance.

1. Call the people you bought it from.
2. Did you upgrade your fuel pump?

It might have been better for you to trust in our good nature, rather than assume that you would need to trick us into looking at your post. We are all here for one reason, to help each other out. No dirty tricks required. Just keep that in mind in the future, ok?

crank up the idle with the idle set screw to around 1500 rpms. then play with the idle mixture screws. probley an imbalance of fuel mixture between rotors. mine did the same thing, only it was also bad @ idle. now its all fixed. found some crap in the idle circuit.

Seeing as how you didn't say it, You need a fpr between the pump and the carburetor. It's seeing too much fuel that's why your stumbling.

That carb is really small for that engine. I have a 45dcoe on my 13b 4 port and it's still too small for that engine. I'd try turning the idle mixture screws way out. On my little 4 port I have htem turned out like 6 turns, which is way more than it's supposed to be, but that's the only way it likes it. I'd try to get your hands on a 48dco or maybe a 50, see if you can trade the 45 in for one of those.
