Frame measurement question

OK, so those of you who remember, the PO of my car tagged a fire hydrant, and messed the front end up a little.

It almost seems like the front end of my car is "pinched"... but only a tiny bit. Enough that I feel conifdent I could repair it without much hassle.

What is the distance between the frame rails, at the front crossmember under the radiator (the round "tube" under the radiator) supposed to be?

I'll try and get you an answer by tomorrow night. I have a full length pit in my garage, so I can get underneath the 7 real easy. Right now I'm working on my mini-van, but I should have that done B4 tomorrow night.

FYI, if there's any body shop folks here...

... Their tech specs/dimensions usually have specified mount-points for their measuring tools and/or frame equipment. I'm not saying that it's not a good idea to use a 18lb. sledge and a craftsman measuring tape, per se... But... You may want to exercise some caution with what you're measuring to where. (And make sure it's off the wheels when you do it.)

I really just want to see if my frame is pinched. If it is, it can't be more than 1/4" or so, because everything pretty much lines up properly, but the header panel is really "tight" between the front fenders.
