Is FPR needed when Upgrading pump for Turbo swap

I've begun the fuel section part of the swap and this thought just crossed my mind. Im going to be using an MSD fuel pump 43gph, supports 500HP, and i just wanted to know if im going to need a Fuel pressure regulator?

Also, A little off topic, I think i got a s5 T2 tranny with my s4 motor (they were seperated, so i got to choose). Im not postive but is there a way that i could check? I know the mounts are different, but in what sense. The mounts at the back of the Tranny are angled, unlike the -se tranny where it bolts up to a flat area.

Anyways, Thanks

Yes, you will need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, all turbo setups need it.

I already got teh MSD pump... it works great... I didn't realize though that my turbo setup needed a FPR... where would be the best place to get one?

You can use the original fuel rails and pressure regulator.

So then i wouldnt Need to get a new FPR? Good.
It makes sense since the original Fuel rails already have Regulators.

the s4 trannys also have a flat mount and the s5 trannys have the angled mount you were talking about...

as far as fuel systems go are you going with EFI or blow through???

yeah you dont need a separate fuel regulator. the stock one is rise rate. you need to change it if your planning to make high HP. like 300+ hp

You should really clean up that engine before dropping it in....The red pullies gotta go. Thats what you get when you go J-spec......
When i bought my motor, It had hand painted flowers on the manifolds, the turbo had a smily face in chalk, and a hello Kitty sticker on the intercooler....Wtf is that. I was too lazy to change it though......
