found my fuel problem, also fixed tranny...awesome!
Guys I did it! I took my tranny apart. I had a replacement tranny so I figured I could play with the bad one (hard to shift into 3rd).
I took the tail section out of the tranny and eveything seemed normal until I figured out which position was third on the shifting forks according to the shifters shaft mechanism. I compared both the replacement tranny and the bad one and BINGO , major wear on third position fork... I'll take some pictures of the affected part. I had read elsewhere in this forum that one can weld some material to fix this problem and it seems logical now.
I'll fix the bad tranny and now I'll enjoy the one I got in the car. Shifts are smooth as silk and third can be slammed at 7k without any problem.
at the same time I replaced the tranny I glanced at the fuel filter and it seems really clogged...so this might be my fuel problem...
I'm so happy
