Found a few FBs
So I was driving in NC and found an FB a few days ago and went yesterday to talk to the owner. When we got there my dad and I found that there wasn't 1, but 3 FBs on the lot.
One had a decent body but engine was bad (malasses poured in tank) and windows smashed.
The 2nd had a good body, but another bad engine (not sure).
The 3rd I was told had a good engine, but the body was very badly damaged.
I was thinking that maybe I could get at least 2 of the cars, while using one of them as a project car.
My questions then are:
1) When I go back to take another look at the cars, what are some problems that i should look for with the cars?
2) What would be a good price to pay for the lot of cars... I was kinda thinking about $300-$500 for all cars.
3) For those of you that have taken a 'junkyard' car and fixed it up about how much have you spent getting it to a good condition?
4) Does anybody know about how much it would be to ship the cars about 800 miles (I live in Indianapolis).
5) If the engine doesn't turn on the car that is supposed to have to good engine what should I look for to maybe get it to work? I've heard that there is a trick with ATF to get the engine in the FC to turn.
6) Just wondering what is the weight of the GS and GLE-SE models... two of the cars where GS models... not sure of the 3rd car.
That'll do for now and I'm sure I'll have a few more questions the more I think about it. Sorry for the long post and thanks to everybody for your help.

Id guess the person with 3 FBs, would probably want at least $300-500 PER car.
Shipping vehicles is also very expensive. I'd bet around $500 a car for that 800 miles

The cars are about 10 min northwest of Pitsboro. I was visiting my aunt and uncle there.
Zac, I'll PM you if things work out and I end up coming back.
Keep the replies coming... thanks.
