found another brake conversion kit on yahoo.jp

I was surprised to see it here, but this company makes a few sa22 (FB) parts, one of which is a rear brake conversion kit. About $340. Basically, it's just the caliper mounts and ebrake cable mounts, but it looks pretty nice. I believe it's annodized iron that's been cut around the middle a bit to keep the weight down.
They recommend only installing it after you've upgraded the fronts, and if you want the 5 lug, they sell aftermarket axles, or redrill the stocks, can't tell from the translation...
Anyways, a link for those interested in checking it out:

There's actually a pic of their kit..

Those are zinc plated steel parts. I wish I could get babblefish to translate it - I want to know what the hell those parts mount.

babble fish translation not pretty but you get the idea

It is the FC3S rear brake rotor diversion kit brand-new unused item for SA22C. Capacity insufficiency of the brake was felt, it was original and it produced. Being able to meet the bracket, itself S45C (the iron) make is. Because of that, in order to avoid the increase of unsprung weight as much as possible, it is designed. Private bracket attachment bolt is SCM435 (the クロモリ steel) make. By the fact that this kit is used, to large diameter it can convert to the brake rotor for FC3S genuine 15 inch from the brake rotor for SA22C turbo genuine 14 inch. Hoe singing assy for SA22C turbo car If you have used, you install and regardless of the previous term and the latter term it is possible. Installation is volt/bolt on, but processing the part rear license plate becomes necessary. The picture above using this kit, is the vehicle which installs the rear brake rotor for FC3S genuine 15 inch. 5 hole conversion processing being completed of option setting. The part 1 which you use) the caliper - you use "SA22C turbo genuine" that way. 2) The rotor "FC3S genuine the PCD114.3 4 hole please uses those which were processed, or" does "drive shaft PCD114.3 5 hole conversion processing" of option setting and uses "FC3S genuine". As for 5 hole conversion processing modification of the wheel becomes necessary, but as for the brake & the rotor being to be able to use "FC3S genuine" that way, running cost goes down. 3) The brake hose "SA22C turbo genuine" use is possible. But, pad exchange becomes troublesome. As for the vehicle which does pad exchange on site please use "the private stain mesh brake & the hose" of option setting. 4) The rear license plate uses "SA22C turbo genuine" that way. Part processing is necessary. 5) The brake wire uses "SA22C turbo genuine" that way. Private option, the processed private stain mesh brake & the hose (there is a stainless steel fitting and a steel fitting) 4 hole process being completed FC3S genuine rear brake & rotor FC3S rear brake & rotor 4 hole process drive shaft PCD114.3 5 hole processing When the rear brake & rotor ×2 for part FC3S genuine 15 inch which is prepared other than the kit (the gong plain gauze is not processed, 4 hole processing are needed) Only the front to large diameter in the serious one which has been converted. We ask may.

They mount where the current caliper mounts... Then you bolt up the new size rotor and caliper to the new mount point.
The parts themselves aren't iron.. oops. S45C is a Japanese standard for measuring steel. Basically, the brackets are carbon steel. The bolts are (SCM435) Chromoly.

Yep the bit about license plate processing probably refers to what they call a koenig Shaken or "modified inspection" this is a process they use to legalize modifications for cars. the parts maker must forward technical specifications to include engineering data on strength of parts and how it affects the vehicle. when finished the vehicle sometimes gets a 33 plate vice its original 55 however in a case like this it would probably stay as a 55 but have the jappanese kanji for "Kai" (short for Kaisou/modified) on the title.

Actually, since you brought it back up.. There is a FD conversion kit also, but it is about $100 more expensive. The parts look cooler though, haha..
