forced induction
well i just wanted to see which would be the best, easiest, cheapest, and most reliable way to go with a forced induction..well first i have a 85 GSL-SE....would it best if i just got a turbo kit...go with a turboII motor...or get a supercharger... id rather get a supercharger cause theres no lag...i like turbo cause they're cooler cause they have blow off valves and intercoolers...well thanks for yur advice
Well if u would have searched u woulda found out lotsa info. But since u didnt ill summarize it. Go with what you want. Alot of people just drop in a T2 from a 2nd gen. Its alot of work from what i hear. As for turbo kits have fun. They like arent made so you would have to do alot of custom work

You could also Find a cold air intake kit that looks just like a front mount intercooler.
If you got these two items and enough APC stickers you wouldn't need to spend all that money for a turbo set up.

I dont think you can put easiest, cheapest, and most reliable in the same sentence. Usually the cheapest is the most unreliable, the easiest usually is the most expensive and reliability rests in the eyes of the beholder. However you need to really assess what you want to spend, the time to put in, and the outcome youre looking for. Spend many hours combing this site for both options (turbo or supercharger). And last but not least,,,, Welcome to the forum!

Supercharges are my favorite hands down. If you can afford $3000 for a kit its a simple install and will give ya quite a bit of horsepower. The no lag will put a big smile on your face if youve used turbos before. THe thing you have to consider is what you could do with $3000 in turbos. If you have $3000, you will get more HP spending it on turbos than a super. BUT if you have a large sum of money to spend you can in the long run make a lot more HP out of a super.

They have money. They need more power.
