"Focal" speakers?

Anyone using Focal speakers? Just doing some research before I upgrade my system - looking for a little feedback from anyone who is using or has heard these speakers. I hear they are very good bang for the buck (ie; compared to Boston Acoustics pro line). This, of course, could be wrong, thus the reason for this post. Opinions??

Focal make some of the best high-end home audio drivers there are. If their car drivers are up to the same quality they will be excellent.

Car Audio was screaming about them two or three issues ago...if they aren't mucho $$$, though, I'd be worried you're getting some Chinese counterfeits and not the real thing...

OK - thanks for the replys all. Relative to the canuck buck (these are a french made speaker where our $ compares a little better), these speakers are cheaper than the Bostons Pro series and, from what I've heard (figuratively), they are better. I may have been misleading in the original post - I didn't mean to say they were cheap - just cheaper than some of the other high end stuff out there, especially in Canada. I've checked a few sites plus a local distributor - the reviews are outstanding and they seem to be blowing the competition out of the water - then again, these are only peoples opinions. Anyway - it's a good FYI post for the series audiohead

I was thinking of going with MB Quart or Focal. I have heard both in person in the same car, and honsetly cant tell a difference. My cousin had MB Quarts all through his FD when he bought it, and went with Focal later. Sounds DAMN good, but it sounded the same, lol.

the MB quarts are fantastic speakers.. not as expensive as the focals but ull have truble noticing the difference in the drivers except the focal tweater should be alot more crisp.

but it all comes down to how u install em..
