Foam treatment or mmo?

Ok well the se's been sittin w/o starting in subzero weather for a little over a week now waiting on a driveshaft, radiator, and cooling fan. Should I lube it up with mmo and crank it over a few times by hand before I fire it? I did an oil change like a day before the driveshaft and radiator took a **** so it wont be that bad.

turning by hand would be the easiest thing to do.

if you want to be absolutely sure the bearings get lubed before you start it, buy three feet of 3/4" heater hose.

take oil filter off

stick heater hose over oil filter threads

pour a quart down the heater hose. it'll go right to the rear main bearings and work it's way forward to the two rotor bearings and front main bearing.

Are you afraid that it won't fire up?
Think positive thoughts, man.
Cars know when your confidence is low and pick that moment to fail.
