flywheels

I hear the 83-85 flywheels are heavier than on the previous models. How much heavier? Is it worth the upgrade?

According to Racing Beat up until 1980 the flywheels were 30lbs, for 81-85 they were 23lbs. Iv'e heard that the 81-82 were accutally 32 lbs, but I could be wrong, I have never weighed any of them before.

Unfortunatly if you want a lighter flywheel you will have to fork out the cash for any aftermarkey unit. The stock flywheels can not be swap around because the rear counter-weight for the motor is cast into the flywheel.
