Question flushing gas tank

What is the best/easiest way to flush the gas tank?

There is a plug screwed into the bottom of the tank. One you can drop the tank and do it right, two you can unhook the fuel line and drain the tank then flush it out by filling it with water and detergent. either works I dropped mine.

Only the 84-85 models had a drian plug in the bottom of the tank. I would drop the tank, drain it the gas then clean it out with "Marine Clean" by POR-15. That stuff is amazing.
