Flush-mount light question

Those of you with flush-mounts: How are the plexi covers fabricated? How do they attach? Could someone please draw me a picture (I'm none too smart..)? Thanks

They are are just plain straight cut plexi glass/Lucite material. They attach by rivets, they are pretty poor quality, I remade the ones I got.

Mine came precurved (both front to back, and left to right) for a smoother fit.

Mounting is done with small aluminum posts that come up at each corner, then bend 90 degrees over and insert into the rubber tube that is attached all the way around the cover. This is how the light kit was designed when I got it from MidTennMiata.I only had to make minor changes to fit it up to the FB........and no,they dont sell the kits anymore.

Heres the weatherstrip thats used to mount the lids.Just type in,"Bulb Seal Weatherstripping" and it will show you many types......

Heres the final product.....
