Floating Hub Kit? Explain please?

Just outta curiousity, what are the benefits of a floating hub?

How does the floating hub differ from the stock setup? What other setups are there available?

Floating Hub kit available at www.gurumotorsports.com

The main bennifits are faster axle changes (if you break one) they allow faster removal of the third member and wheel bearing changes can be made at the track ect ect....

How often do wheel bearings go bad, or axles break?

I assume, however that hard driving such as drifting will accelerate the destruction of wheel bearings and bend axles.
