^bump

damn my last post is sooo old...where have I been?
I sold that car (the series V) and still insist that any well-maintained stock FC will pull on on an FB with no internal mods. Anyone suggest otherwise?

Yes, since an FB with carb and exhaust can run 15 flat or so and a stock FC (even a series 5) would take a miracle to run that fast.

it's 90% driver...

I don't believe an FB with carb and exhaust will run 15 flat. I'd like some evidence to substantiate that claim; otherwise I still see the edge going to the FC AOTBE.

*just for reference, when you say an FB w/carb and exhaust mods will run 15 flat or so, are you referring to the 12A or 13B? Because there is a big difference.
