Hoping someone can give me some info about this car, unfortunately I dont have a pic. While at a junkyard today I saw a first gen 7 there, on the lower section of the roof on each side it had an emblem that said "TARGA 7". Are these a rare model, I go around buying parts and car but never seen one like that? Car is basically untouched for the most part.Any info would be appreciated and my advanced thanks to those that do!

 

its a "targa band" its not realy a targa top like a porsche, just for looks. some 83 LEs came with them and i think it was a opion on the 85s. not sure though. in my sig theres a pic of my 83 LE witha targa band

Some say "Targa 7" and some just say "Mazda". But i think it was just a dealer option.

If you find some, I would ****** them up, Nice ones seem to be getting hard to come by.

 

^where yours say "mazda" this one reads "targa 7" Probably will get some parts off since he wont sell cars whole unfortunately besides if he did the 61 caddy coupe would be at my house already. BIG THANKS FOR THE PICSS!
