Talking First Gen Sighting Galore!

Since the start of this week I have seen more 1st gen's driving around then I've seen all of last year.

Monday:
1 Silver (mint)
1 White (fair)
1 Red (mint)
1 Brown (TLC baddly needed)
1 Blue FC (okay it's not a FB but I threw it in anyways)

Tuesday:
2 Red (both fair)
1 White (mint)

Wednesday:
1 Dark Aqua Green (average)
1 Brown (fair)
1 Silver (fair)

It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I have only seen 3 1st gens in my town. All but mine are in incredibly poor condition, I doubt that either are driveable. It makes me so sad...

Yeah, for some reason there are a lot of them around here. I think it may have something to do with the migration season of the FB, the possibility of them coming out of hibernation, or the crop circles we have out there in the corn fields. LOL

I've seen only 3.

1 primed (poor)
1 white (fair)
1 gold (fair)
All 3 were regular stock with no mods.
Of course mine is in mint condition (blue)

That's odd. Now I really wonder why there are so many in my area.

LOL That's what I was thinking. Maybe it's their mating season.

The poor old things just don't want to get out in the cold. Well...unless the owner likes the snow, but then it still moans at me for taking it out from a warm resting area.

here in hell we have three I have seen, a black and primer one, a super clean silver one and a nice silver one.

Those are aside from my 5.

And I keep seeing Fb's that I used to see on the road appear in the junkyard, sniff, 3 that I can think of off the top of my head.

Yeah I would have to say that I've seen more than my share of FB's in the local junk yards. They don't last too long because of vultures like me grab things and use the spare parts for my current FB's.

hello Kai! How new are you to the RX-7? Have you visited Felix Miata's site yet? I don't have the URL but do a search for Felix Miata and you should get his site. Very good basic info.

there're a few FBs around here.

my tornado silver specimen - in fair-good condition
some woman's white/cream - mint
another woman's white - mint
the guy who works at albertsons' LE - mint, modded, FAST
some GSL-SE - with some body damage

there was an SA down the street from a friend of mine's house that was in pretty good shape, but it appears to have disappeared.

also, a couple years ago, my neighbor got rid of his MINT AS HELL GSL-SE without even telling me!!! (this was the car that began my love affair with sevens). he traded it for a civic sedan

And my other friend has one for sale that I WANT!! But the dudes dad wants $2200 and im like no way! It needs vacuume work, windows fall out of tracks, and could use paint. I'm waiting for the price to drop after months of him not selling it, then I'll buy it.

There are 2 FC's that go to u of l i see all the time. One white, one blue. I have seen a brown 7 speeding around, i always want to go chase him down, but im never near my car. And i managed to park next to my cars twin one day, except he had a spoiler and airdamn... And then their my dads car... which needs some hard core TLC.

When i was getting new tires, i looked at the interstate and saw and white and green 300z, and a 280, all flying down the interstate in a pack. Man, i would kill to go cruisin with some other 7's.

LOL it wouldn't be a bad idea, but I ain't driving I-35 all the way down there. I can't even stand when I have to take I-35 just a few blocks. Stupid drivers everywhere.
