First gen shift **** unscrew or ???
Stupid question, mostly because I haven't looked at my shift ****, but do the ***** on the first gen's unscrew or what? I need to get my boot off to dye it (and so Ralf can measure it for his reproductions)

THey unscrew, but I have had a couple that were a PIA to get off! Just keep tryin!
