First GEN NEWBIE> need to know 12aT
i'm a second gen owner (turbo II), and my friend is planing get a first gen, we both know much about second gens, but very little on first gens, our first major project is the 12AT, we know it's fuel inject'd, and that's what we like i.e. we don't know **** about carbs..well corksports selling some engines but no ECU/Wire Harness, etc... well is there a write up on a 12AT, and please don't try to lure us into 13BT swap or anything we just need the info on 12AT SWAP, YES i've search, but on every post it says (SEARCH U'LL FIND SOMETHING) but end up never finding because everyone always say search.

Problem with the 12at is the like 6lbs of boost cut off. Because there is no intercooler. And the motor runs out of fuel due to only having 2 800cc injectors. But if you look on the www.mazspeed.com forum. You will find some links to 12at stuff.

If you're dropping in a 12AT, use an aftermarket ECU (haltech, microtech or something). Fit an intercooler and use a 13BT's turbo as the 12AT item is tiny.
I'm sure there was a decent thread about the 12AT in this section somewhere...

I was planning on the TII turbo... a bit bigger, although I'm not planning on running massive boost anyway. And intercooled is the way to go!
As for fuel injection... sheesh I'm not that patient. Would be interesting though.
