I had the front windows open the other day and started up the 7 after I had flooded it. Smoke went all through the house. Wife almost killed me before I noticed what had happened.

BTW, Best cake pan ever.

I got in trouble (well, not really) with the wife on Saturday because my project polluted our house with all kind of noxious fumes while I was letting the cold-blooded beast warm up so I could move it.

Wife: "Is it safe to put the baby down in here? Smells like gas all over the place"
Me: "Yeah, he'll just have to learn to love the smell. Sorry, the car runs stupid rich and burns more oil while it's warming up."
Wife: "Is it SUPPOSED to do that?"
Me: "Not really. Kinda. You see, the rotary..."
Wife: <walks away>

(Baby's room is directly over the garage- I use that as my excuse for not having made more progress on my car...)

Edit: Oh, and I have that cake pan, too. My brother got my kid that and a school bus one right before I got my RX7 last fall.

All of my girlfriends have told me that I smell amazing, except for when I've been working on the Rx-7.

The RX-7 has contributed to the downfall of two relationships now, but not the entire cause.

I just love her too much, my RX-7

The cornbread was tasty, although I was freezing way too much to try out the chili.

Just call the RX-7 the relationship test. My current GF learned to drive in a first genner so she spots them when we are out and about almost as quick as me. Err, I hope she is fond of them because she first learned to drive in them and didn't have another first in them. I will have to break my baby out and see...

it is kind of funny that we were talking about this fumes thig, lol. today my wife and i were in the garage and i needed to move my LS to get a box of "X" pattern FB wheels out and i started the beast and it was pure hell to her. i heard her mention something about her eyes burning as she made her way out of the garage. i pulled the car out and she was rubbing her eyes. i felt bad. strangely i wasnt affected by the smoke and the noxious fumes. my clothes however, felt the wrath of the fumes. i smelled like a rotary until i changed for work.
