First gen CARTECH TURBO....

Where can I find one, does anybody out there have one for sale? The CarTech turbo kit is a direct bolt on for the gsl-se... I emailed CarTech but no reply, I'll have to try again... anybody out there know how good this kit is?

well there fairly old and rare, i have seen air/air setup with a 4port motor and it had a to4b. the manifold setup are really nice, i dont know a whole lot about them but look around ebay and the parts trader i have seen a few on there from time to time. there are also the water/air ones too that look really odd but never seen one face to face.. hope this helps

If anyone is interested, I have an almost complete Cartech 2nd gen setup, which could be used on a GSL-SE. The water to air intercooler bolts up directly to the 2nd gen throttle body. This could either be modified or you could retrofit a 2nd gen tb.

I have a brand new exhaust manifold, turbonetics deltagate, water to air intercooler (very compact, you don't need tubing running all over the place), electric water pump for intercooler, blow off valve, pop off valve, rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

Just about any setup you get for the 1st gen will require some kind of engineering. I would be weary of anyone selling a 1st gen turbo setup that they claim is bolt on and will make x horsepower. Tuning is everything.
