Firing Order

What is the firing order for an 83 gsl engine? I'm putting it in an 81 gsl. Thanks.

umm... it doesn't work the same as a piston engine exactly...

Your distributor cap should be labeled for Leading and Trailing on Rotor 1 and Rotor 2

L1 goes to the Leading spark plug (the lower one) on Rotor one (the one closest to the front of the engine)
L2 goes to the Leading spark plug (the lower one) on Rotor two (the one closest to the transmission)
T1 goes to the Trailing spark plug (the top one) on Rotor one (the one closest to the engine)
T2 goes to the Trailing spark plug (the top one) on Rotor two (the one closest to the transmission)
