finished my upgrades

Well i finally got everything back together tonight on my Sa after the electrical conversoin. i have posted some pics of everything in more detail while i was working on it but figured i would post some overall completed pics. basically its a 12a streetport, with RB streetport intake and header, with 465 cfm holley, and RB race exhaust all the way back, one off radiator hose water temp sensor, and one off intake, light weight steel flywheel from RB, and RB street/strip clutch. Rebuilt tranny, 2nd gen alt, and complete FB wiring conversion with electronic distributor, some wiring out of a 81 and some out of a 83. well here are some pics of the engine and interior back together.

I like the rotor air cleaner assembly/intake system.
On the water temp sensor are you still running the one off of the block also?

well i just took out my 79 FB (half and half) and its loading up beyond belief but heck i could not stand it any more and had to take it for a spin. after all the hard work everything seemed in working order, except the excessive loading up. It made the car sluggish but still it got its first 7.5 miles on it since the wiring swap. im going to try different jets and see what happens.

From what I saw today, the primary jets are too big. Running way rich. Maybe this upcoming weekend, we can do a little throw down. HAHAHAHA.
