I applaud the efforts and I am sure it'll work great, but I don't really like the look. A little too muscle car for my tastes, but that's why it's YOUR car. Keep up the good work, and she sounds amazing.

Being an old dog I like the muscle look. My preference would be a "BIG" turbo, fmic, standalone, etc but that's about $3000+ outside of my budget for the car. I need to completely refinish the body before I go that far, but it is in the dream stages anyway. PS, that's why I didn't cut the original hood and used a "freebie" donor hood instead.

Ok, very nice. I think I remember you saying something about that. Thats awesome. It looks/sounds like the original exhaust is on there, which is a plus for driving around town.

That is just crazy, but I'm glad it's got the guts to back up the old skool bughat look. For once, I'm liking the look of something "V8"-derived on a rex!

I've seen that one before as well on the aussie forum. There's a guy in australia who retrofitted a 3.8l tbird s/c on a 12a as well.

whenever i see one of those scoops, i always think of the "family matters" theme when they introduce eddie winslow and hes playing with linkage on one on the hood of his car.

Tough night, took her out for some video takes, ran out of space on the dvd and only caught some of the video. Then, died! No spark! Had to have her towed home. Anyhow, here is a short video I converted before going to bed. http://media.putfile.com/open-header-rotary
