Finally MY new wheels.. MR7s

I just got these from my brother, it is on a GSL and I bought wheel adapters to fit front wheel drive wheels. They fit awesome, Don't have much time now, But here they are. They are 17" Motegi MR7, in Hyper black or graphite. I like them a lot, just right for the car it will be after it gets painted. Next is the suspension. Can't wait until it is done, it is getting ever so close.

I am trying to get some more pics up, but I can't load them. They have wheel adapters on there, 4x110 to 4x114. Very nice.

If you cant tell im very interested.

No wheel adapters are fine, they are perfectly safe if you know how to put a tire on and tighten it. I was the one who recommened wheeladapters@aol.com
This was his product, it fit perfect. Oh and when you get wheel adapters you have to get front wheel drive offset like a honda wheel that is liek +40 or so and they fit right in there perfectly. The spacer is 1.25 inches thick. Oh thats not a carbon fiber hood, it is painted gloss black with a 300zx scoop in it. CHeck out my cardomain site for more pictures... I can't get them to come up damn it.. I have some of the spacers and some close ups of the wheels, some help with this would be appreciated. Thanks for the compliments, lowering comes in the next week!! can't wait.

they look heavy, and there's a huge possibility that you will rub when you get dropped

I'm not dropping it very much, and honestly they don't weigh much more than the stock tires that I pulled off. If I do rub, all it takes is a little moding, I am not going for the ricer look, I want a nice aggresive look, I'm not putting it on the ground. I had them both in my hands before I put them on, honestly its a trade off, I couldn't tell. Acceleration was not effected at all, so I think it was a good trade off.

the wheels look good but IMO, they are too big for the car.

I am kinda torn about wheels, these are the first ones that I could get a hold of, and I really like them. I think I would like a 15" wheel in another style too. But I like these a lot and I am going to keep them.

Personally I like big wheels on first gens, but I think 17 is as big as I would go. I think they will look great once I finish my car, it will be a two tone black and red scheme. I will post it when I get done with it. I am buying springs tonite for the front, to lower it an inch before I take it in to get aligned and new tie rod end.
