Finally! My new steering wheel!

Did this just because Wacky said my steering wheel didn't look right on my car.

I saw -xlr8planet-'s MOMO steering wheel, his is all leather with the red stitch and I just had to have it. Problem is that it's not made anymore and it was hard to find. I ended up finding this MOMO wheel in the U.K. Price was alot and so was shipping. I bought the MOMO hub part number 5702 that is made for our first gens. Install was a piece of cake with this hub.

Next stop: Finish the suspension and fuel injection! Can't wait!

Looks slick!
Im glad to see the oldschool mazda horn button in the middle was saved and worked with the new wheel. Its a nice touch!

I hope Wacky likes this one... I think the black wheel makes everything look slicker, and sets off the pedals, guages and center console.

Keep up the good work!

Oh nice. Definitely like the way the new steering wheel looks.

I also never noticed before, but the tach has a great little rotor on it. That is really great looking too.

And wacky was right, the steering wheel from before didn't look right.

That black interior looks awesome. The steering wheel goes well with too. The interior doesn't look like it was from the 80's at all. I think I may have to steal your idea and dye my interior black also.

You know I didn't think it looked bad untill Wacky said something, then it bothered the crap out of me after he did. I'm glad he did though because I love this one. It feels great too.

I like when you guys get opinionated. Makes my car look better. Now if I could only find a way for you guys to pay for it. LOL

...I'm quite sure there are several guys on here that could think of ways; however, I'm not quite sure any of those ways would be very appropriate...

Kim:

Just wanted to say your car has really inspired me as I'm sure it has done so to other member. You're very creative, yet you maintain to keep things as clean of an install as possible. I'm hoping to be in your "class" once I'm done with my car. If I'm ever close by I'll make sure that I'll come and shake your hand.

Back to the thread though, great wheel, but to be honest, I think that I liked the old one better, but thats just me.

Oh, I need another rear hatch latch please. I don't want to discuss what happened to the other one. (stupid carwash people).

Oh wow, that's really cool of you to say. Recycled inspiration, because my car is a product of inspiration provided by the people in this forum. You guys are the ones that influence me

With that said, if you like the the other wheel better, blame Wacky for me replacing it. LOL But I would be happy to send it to you if you provide shipping.
